Job Description:

Hot Chix is on the lookout for a dedicated and detail-oriented Crew Member to join our culinary team. As a Crew Member, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient preparation of ingredients, contributing to the success of Hot Chix's signature fried chicken dishes. If you have a passion for precision in food preparation, a love for cooking, especially when it comes to frying up delicious and crispy chicken, and thrive in a team-oriented environment, collaborative kitchen environment, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Prep ingredients (wash, chop, portion) and season chicken per Hot Chix recipes.
• Follow recipes to ensure consistent taste and quality.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and efficient.
• Communicate with team to coordinate ingredient prep and cooking.
• Check ingredient quality and report any issues.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with inventory and report shortages or overstock.
• Manage time effectively in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Operate deep fryers and ensure chicken is cooked to standard.

Requirements:

• Experience in food prep or similar kitchen role.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety.
• Able to follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure during busy hours.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with deep fryers and frying techniques.
• Prior experience as a fry cook is a plus.
• Familiar with sanitation and health regulations.
