TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OB/GYN RN in Huntington, Indiana, 46750!

Job Title: OB Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Obstetrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 pm - 7 am) Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years OB experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS (AHA only), NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification Must-Have: Preferred AWHONN certification Description: Care for patients and families during labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum phases of childbirth, and newborn care. Two nurses are required to be in the facility at all times; employees will not work alone. Floating to care for a patient assignment in another department will not be expected. The unit includes 6 LDRP beds and 3 postpartum beds. Staffing for this department follows Indiana Perinatal Standards. Mandatory attendance is required for all training sessions. The dress code consists of hospital-issued scrubs. The training and orientation program will be provided based on the experience level and expertise of the nurse fulfilling this position. Employees are required to work weekends, including every third Friday and Saturday and one scheduled Sunday every three weeks. All required certifications must be maintained throughout the duration of employment.
