Role Description: The Birdie Associate is a part-time, on-site role based at Birdie Central in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for welcoming members and guests, checking them in, and ensuring that simulator bays, lounge areas, and the bar are prepared and well-maintained throughout each shift. The Birdie Associate assists players with operating simulator technology, explaining features, and troubleshooting basic issues to deliver a smooth golfing experience. Day-to-day tasks include managing reservations, supporting league nights and events, coordinating corporate group bookings, and maintaining a clean, safe, and engaging environment. The associate also provides service at the bar and lounge, promotes memberships and programs, and contributes to a friendly, inclusive community atmosphere. Qualifications: Passion for golf and solid golf knowledge (rules, etiquette, swing basics, and equipment), with a desire to help players of all skill levels feel welcome and supported. Sales experience is required. You must be comfortable promoting and upselling memberships, programs, and beverages. Strong customer service and hospitality skills. You stay attentive to members and guests, answer their questions, and resolve issues professionally. Commitment to keeping the facility clean and up to standard, including simulator bays, lounge areas, and the bar, throughout every shift. Facility and operations awareness, including managing reservations and supporting events and league play. Hospitality service experience is required. Other bar or retail experience is a plus. Basic technology skills. Clear communication and strong people skills, with the ability to work well with a wide range of guests and team members. Ability to work on-site in Houston, TX, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. High school diploma or equivalent.
