About the Role Senior Principal Security Services Sales Specialist – A quota‑bearing sales persona who works with services teams to identify, develop, and close managed service and outsourcing deals. This client‑trusted cloud managed services advisor engages and closes opportunities with decision‑makers, partners with internal sales and delivery experts, and champions the delivery team’s understanding of the client’s solution requirements to ensure continued sales opportunities. Key Responsibilities Generate demand and sell Security Managed Services solutions, helping clients identify and qualify current needs. Articulate value and guide clients through objections related to moving to a managed services model. Prioritize sales time among assigned clients and prospects, focusing on top accounts while balancing opportunity size and likelihood of closing. Build and maintain long‑term relationships with client leaders, execute competitive win strategies, and share best practices across teams. Construct managed services deals, including commercial modeling, contract negotiation, legal risk mitigation, and proposal close to meet assigned quota. Guide pipeline management, opportunity planning, and regular stakeholder check‑ins to achieve sales targets. Ensure accurate sales data and provide data‑driven insights. Collaborate with cross‑functional sales, commercial architects, and delivery teams to deliver proposals and manage scope of work. Lead regional reporting cadence and review major deals. Key Qualifications In‑depth understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threats, and vulnerabilities. Familiarity with a wide range of security solutions and best practices for securing networks and systems. Expertise in positioning services across Managed Services, Support Services, Consulting Services, and Technical Services. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components (servers, storage, virtualization, data centers). Ability to articulate the value of standardized, centralized, and optimized services from a business‑outcome perspective. Business acumen to conduct strategic conversations involving financial metrics. Proven problem‑solving and client‑centric approach. Excellent negotiation skills to craft beneficial solutions for both parties. Bachelor’s degree in a technical or sales field, or equivalent experience. Knowledge and Attributes Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts and threat analytics. Familiarity with diverse security solutions and network security best practices. Required Experience 8+ years in a similar security and sales position. Track record of selling managed services solutions to large enterprise accounts. Experience structuring large, multi‑year profitable contracts. Strong relationship building with C‑suite and senior stakeholders. Knowledge of networking with internal and external senior specialists. Full sales cycle management, contracting, and legal implications. Workplace Type Remote working with travel up to 80% to client sites and internal meetings as required.
