Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred: A minimum of three years of registered nursing experience required for RN candidates. At least one year of experience practicing as an IBCLC in a high-volume, Baby-Friendly designated hospital is preferred. International Board Certified Lactation Consultant certification required within one year of hire and must be maintained. Current South Carolina or compact-state RN license required for RN candidates. Current American Heart Association BLS or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required Registered Dietitians, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Physical Therapists will also be considered RN candidates hired with an associate or diploma degree in nursing must enroll in an accredited BSN program within two years and successfully earn their BSN within four years of their hire or reclassification date, in accordance with Policy A141.
