Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week travel assignment at a respected inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Stockton, California. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative multidisciplinary team while helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life following serious illness or injury. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients recovering from: Stroke Brain injury Spinal cord injury Orthopedic trauma Joint replacement surgery Other medically complex rehabilitation conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Assist patients in improving strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other rehabilitation professionals. Educate patients and caregivers on treatment goals and recovery strategies. Document patient progress and treatment outcomes. Requirements ? Previous travel healthcare experience preferred ? Previous rehabilitation and/or acute care experience required ? Active Physical Therapist license in applicable state ? The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing patient evaluations, as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual patient and physician’s orders when applicable.
