Every image contributes to important clinical decisions and helps our teams deliver exceptional, timely care.When you join our Radiology leadership team, you’ll work alongside highly skilled technologists, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who share a commitment to quality, safety, innovation, and the patient experience.You’ll have the opportunity to lead and develop talented teams, strengthen operations, and help advance imaging services while supporting some of the most complex oncology care in the world.At MSK, you don’t just build a career — you help make an impact on cancer care every day.Role Overview:Manage the technical functions, activities, and daily operations of the X-Ray and CT departments at MSK’s Main Hospital CampusLead and support teams of radiologic and CT technologists to provide high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered imaging servicesEnsure departmental operations meet MSK and regulatory standards for quality, safety, compliance, and patient carePartner with Radiology leadership, radiologists, nursing, and other clinical teams to optimize workflow and address operational needsMonitor staffing, scheduling, productivity, quality, and other operational measures to ensure effective coverage and performanceSupport staff development, engagement, competency, and ongoing educationIdentify opportunities to improve workflows, patient experience, quality, and operational efficiencyServe as a clinical and operational resource for X-Ray and CT servicesKey Qualifications:7–10 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology, X-Ray, and/or CT preferred, including demonstrated leadership or supervisory experienceCurrent New York State Radiologic Technologist licenseCurrent ARRT certificationCT experience and/or advanced CT certification preferredDemonstrated experience leading teams within a complex hospital or healthcare environment preferredStrong knowledge of imaging operations, quality, safety, and regulatory requirementsCore Skills:Strategic Leadership: Ability to align X-Ray and CT operations with departmental and organizational goals while driving quality, efficiency, and an exceptional patient experienceOperational Expertise: Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging workflows, staffing, scheduling, patient flow, and day-to-day radiology operationsCollaborative Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams while partnering effectively with radiologists and multidisciplinary clinical teamsData-Driven Decision Maker: Ability to use operational and quality data to assess performance, identify opportunities, and drive improvementsEffective Communicator: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage staff and collaborate across departmentsAdditional Information:Location: Main Hospital Campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NYSchedule: Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm (flexibility as needed)Reporting to: Clinical Director, RadiologyHelpful Links:Compensation PhilosophyBenefitsPay Range: $136,400.00 - $225,100.00FSLA Status: ExemptClosing: At MSK, we believe in fair, competitive pay that reflects your job, experience, and skills.MSK is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer committed to diversity and inclusion in all aspects of recruiting and employment.
