Seven Healthcare are seeking a passionate and skilled Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Worthington, OH. This is a travel position, offering you the chance to work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in a dynamic pharmacy environment. You'll be responsible for crucial tasks such as filling prescriptions, preparing IVs, and assisting with inventory management.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician

• Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs
• Assist the Billing Supervisor with data entry to fill prescriptions and obtain reimbursement
• Prepackage medication for dispensing according to standards and government regulations
• Assist the Pharmacist in final checking and packaging of filled prescriptions
• Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of prescriptions to the customer
• Maintain good inventory practices, including receiving and rotating medications
• Check equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness with the Technician Supervisor

Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician

• Relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulations
• Ability to work under supervision and maintain a high standard of accuracy
