Job Category: Hourly: Food & Beverage-Culinary Job Title: Full-Time F&B Line Cook Department: Food & Beverage FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt (Hourly) JOB SUMMARY The Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes with consistency, precision, and attention to detail, supporting a refined dining experience for our guests. This role follows established recipes and presentation standards, maintains a clean and organized workstation, and collaborates closely with the culinary team to ensure timely and exceptional service. Ideal candidates are dependable, quality-driven, and passionate about hospitality and food excellence. Must have valid U.S. work authorization at the time of hire. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Produce high-quality food according to recipes, menus, and assigned specials in a timely and organized manner. Prepare, season, and cook soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items. Maintain a high level of sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety at all times. Follow all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, and department. Collaborate with culinary leadership and team members to support efficient kitchen operations. Perform other duties as assigned by management. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand, walk, and bend repetitively throughout the entire shift. Ability to climb stairs with or without reasonable accommodation. Regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds; frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to use hands, wrists, and arms for continuous chopping, stirring, lifting, and equipment operation. Ability to grip, grasp, push, pull, and safely work with knives and kitchen tools. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Must have valid U.S. work authorization at the time of hire. Minimum of 2 years prior experience in a restaurant-style kitchen, hotel, or comparable high-volume culinary environment (required). Working knowledge of basic culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment. Ability to follow standardized recipes, plating guidelines, and food safety procedures with consistency and accuracy. Strong understanding of sanitation, cleanliness, and safe food-handling practices. Culinary education or formal training preferred but not required; relevant hands-on experience may substitute. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Flexible availability based on business needs. BENEFITS & PRIVILEGES Competitive wages.
