CarpenterWe are seeking an experienced Carpenter skilled in finish carpentry, cabinetry, or custom woodworking to join our team. Your role will involve reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, construction prints, and exhibit plans to ensure accurate and high-quality craftsmanship.ResponsibilitiesMeasure, cut, shape, assemble, and install plywood, hardwood, laminates, trim, and specialty materials.Utilize woodworking equipment including table saws, miter saws, routers, sanders, and hand tools.Assemble structural framing and finished exhibit components according to specifications.Install hardware, hinges, drawer slides, locks, shelving, and architectural finishes.Perform finish carpentry tasks including trim work, cabinet assembly, and detailed wood component finishing.Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and blueprint compliance.Collaborate with project managers, designers, fabricators, and production teams to meet project deadlines.Safely operate shop equipment while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.Support exhibit installations, dismantles, and modifications as needed.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in carpentry, cabinetry, woodworking, millwork, exhibit fabrication, or related fields.Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and detailed construction plans.Experience using woodworking machinery and hand tools, such as table saws, routers, and drill presses.Strong measuring, layout, and fabrication skills.Knowledge of framing methods, cabinetry construction, joinery, and finish carpentry techniques.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic team where your craftsmanship will contribute to creating stunning and unique exhibits. Be prepared to work 6-7 days a week to meet production deadlines and ensure timely delivery of projects.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
