This will be the Team Lead for Big Springs Pediatrics and Urgent Care.

The Clinic Lead serves as the on-site clinical leader and primary support resource for the clinic team. In partnership with the Regional Clinic Manager, the Clinic Lead provides day-to-day leadership within the clinic to support efficient operations, maintain clinical standards, and foster a collaborative and supportive work environment. This role helps ensure clinical workflows run smoothly and that staff have the guidance and support needed to deliver high-quality patient care.

Site Leadership & Clinical Support

· Serve as the on-site clinical lead, providing day-to-day guidance and support to clinical staff.

· Help ensure the clinic maintains high-quality patient care and efficient clinical operations.

· Assist with patient triage, check-in, and patient flow as needed to support clinic operations during busy periods or staffing gaps.

· Provide real-time support to staff to help resolve operational or clinical questions throughout the day.

Staff Support & Collaboration

· Act as a primary point of support and collaboration for clinical staff during daily operations.

· Promote a positive team culture built on collaboration, communication, and mutual support.

· Provide guidance and assistance when staffing shortages or workflow challenges arise.

· Partner with the Clinic Manager to help ensure adequate staffing coverage and operational support.

· Escalate staffing concerns, attendance issues, or workflow challenges to the Clinic Manager as appropriate.

Clinical Oversight & Standards

· Help ensure clinical policies, procedures, and care standards are followed consistently through coaching and day-to-day guidance.

· Support compliance with regulatory requirements including OSHA, HIPAA, and other applicable standards.

· Observe clinical workflows and identify opportunities for improvement, partnering with the Clinic Manager to implement solutions.

· Reinforce clinical best practices and maintain a safe and compliant patient care environment.

Education, Mentorship & Training

· Support onboarding and ensure new clinical staff complete the required competency check-offs.

· Provide mentorship and guidance to new or junior clinical team members.

· Serve as a clinical knowledge resource for questions related to workflows, patient care practices, and clinic procedures.

· Help reinforce ongoing training and development of clinical staff.

Inventory & Equipment Management

· Oversee day-to-day monitoring of medical and cleaning supply inventory to ensure adequate stock levels.

· Complete weekly inventory logs.

· Complete monthly medication logs.

· Perform weekly autoclave spore testing, if applicable.

· Escalate any supply shortages or equipment issues promptly.

· Radiology Oversight (If Applicable)

· Ensure staff are wearing required X-ray badges during radiology procedures.

· Ensure completion of required X-ray logs.

· Confirm timely badge reprocessing and compliance with radiology safety standards.

· Ensure radiology badges are distributed, worn appropriately, and sent for reprocessing as required.

Vaccine Management

· Complete weekly vaccine logs for both private and VFC vaccines.

· Complete monthly vaccine reporting in the appropriate state portal when VFC vaccines are supplied.

· Ensure daily refrigerator temperature logs are completed and reported according to policy by nursing staff.

Help ensure vaccine storage and handling remain compliant with all applicable guidelines.

Rural Health Compliance

· Assist with maintaining required rural healthcare compliance documentation and staff details.

· Complete the monthly rural healthcare rounding tool.

· Conduct quarterly mock surveys to help ensure readiness for regulatory review.

Communication & Escalation

· Maintain open and proactive communication with the Clinic Manager regarding clinic operations.

· Elevate concerns related to clinical compliance, professionalism, or staff performance as appropriate.

· Immediately report supply, equipment, utility, or facility maintenance issues.

· Partner with the Clinic Manager to help identify operational challenges and implement solutions.

· Participate in weekly remote check-ins with the Clinic Manager to review clinic operations and needs.

Other Duties

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Clinic Manager to support clinic operations, team collaboration, and the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Active CMA, RMA, LPN, RN, or other applicable clinical credential (as required by state regulations). BLS certification.
