Join a leading outpatient healthcare organization seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Urgent Care for a 13-week assignment in Playa Vista, California. This role is ideal for RNs with Urgent Care or Emergency Room (ER) experience who thrive in a fast-paced outpatient setting and are comfortable treating patients across all age groups.

Saturday Sunday: 8:30 AM 7:00 PM

Every other weekend required
-
Floating to a nearby Urgent Care location may be required
-
Assess and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
-
Perform IV starts, venipuncture, medication administration, and patient education.
-
Conduct EKGs, vital signs, and clinical assessments.
-
Assist with splinting, wound care, nebulizer treatments, and minor procedures.
-
Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR.
-
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care.

Active California RN License (required at time of submission)
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
-
At least 1 year of Urgent Care or Emergency Room experience
-
Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
-
Experience with Epic electronic medical records
-
Comfortable working with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
-
ACLS certification
-
IV therapy and venipuncture experience

EKG interpretation

Splinting and orthopedic care
