Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in the identification and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work collaboratively alongside surgeons to craft and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide crucial intraoperative assistance, such as preparing surgical spaces, securing patient positions, and managing surgical instruments during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Surgical-focused clinical rotations strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) for Physician Assistant

Skills

• Strong grasp of surgical principles and sterile techniques
