Registered Nurse - ICU Night Shift

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description: The ICU is a 16-bed, mixed-acuity environment servicing Critical Care, Stepdown, and Cardiac Telemetry patients with ratios varying from 1:2 to 1:4. The team is composed of skilled nurses, patient support technicians, and monitor technicians, all dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care across three levels of patient acuity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients
• Manage IV sedation and procedural sedation administration
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Monitor patients and maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years ICU experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Experience in continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation monitoring
• CCRN certification preferred
• Proficiency in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias
