You will have the opportunity to take a hands-on approach, addressing patient needs inside the exam room and look beyond to understand how social determinants of health are affecting health outcomes. We are experts in senior-focused primary care with a versatile approach.As a Primary Care Physician, you will report to our Associate Medical Director. This role will be onsite and in-person at the Conviva Hiatus clinic.The Physician focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. Keeps a medical history and medical records. Refers the patient to specialists as needed. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.A Day in the Life of a Conviva PhysicianMonday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pmJoin an experienced team with an established patient panelSee 12-15 patients per day. Opportunity to spend more time with patientsLonger authorized appointments (45 minutes)Spend 100% of your time clinically focused on direct patient care, inclusive of patient-facing time and general administrative time as it relates to direct patient careRequired QualificationsDoctor of Medicine or Osteopathic MedicineBoard certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal MedicineValid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment (or willing to obtain)Current, unrestricted DEA licensePreferred Qualifications:Minimum of two+ years of experience1+ years of experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patientsKnowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage.Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators.Fluent in Spanish and EnglishScheduled Weekly Hours: 40Pay Range: $255,000 - $298,500 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
