The position could be based in our Wilkes-Barre, Olyphant, Hazleton offices.Because our employees are usually involved in several projects at one time, involving numerous team members (such as project manager, engineer, and CAD technician/designer), exceptional communications skills and the ability to work well with others is essential.Our ideal candidate will be a Professional (Civil) Engineer with at least five years' experience in the design and management of land development projects. They should have experience in a project management role including building and maintaining client relations and working with a team to successfully complete land development projects.Responsibilities:Design of subdivisions and land developmentZoning and approvals processStormwater managementSite design, grading, and erosion and sediment control plansSite utilitiesPennDOT/DEP permittingHydraulic calculationsCost estimatingPreparing project proposals and managing contracts, reports, and invoicingHiring/mentoring/managing junior engineers and designersRequirementsB.S.
