We have a fantastic opportunity for a Full-Time Medical Assistant in our OB/GYN Women's Wellness Center. For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors. Responsibilities Job Summary The Medical Assistant supports a busy multi-specialty faculty practice office(s). The ideal candidate has a proactive personality, can take initiative, is team oriented and able to work in a fast pace environment as well as travel to different practice sites during a week. The duties include but not limited to: Patient registration and scheduling, patient triage, assisting physician with patient exams, completing lab results and chart documentation, working on prescription orders with pharmacies. Requirements The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of experience. (preferred) High school diploma or equivalent graduate of state approved medical assistant certificate program or 2 years experience as a direct care provider in a related clinical setting or a combination of education and experience acceptable.
