Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an 8-week Epic Conversion contract in the Operating Room. The role requires proficiency in Epic and Cerner electronic health record systems and a valid California license. The successful candidate will support system migration efforts and ensure clinical accuracy during the transition.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IT and clinical staff to facilitate Epic system conversion and ensure seamless data migration.
• Provide clinical expertise to verify patient information and documentation accuracy within Epic and Cerner platforms.
• Support training and orientation activities for staff on new electronic record functionalities.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical policies and confidentiality standards during the transition.
• Address technical issues promptly and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active California Registered Nurse license.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 6 months of recent Epic experience within the past year.
• Show proficiency with Cerner and Epic electronic health record systems.
• Possess strong clinical skills relevant to operating room nursing practice.
• Be available to start by August 24, 2026, with orientation dates of August 3rd or 17th.
