Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Newborn Nursery/Labor & Delivery Night Shift position in Chicago, IL, requiring at least 1 year of experience and AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring certification.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital Newborn Nursery unit within a Labor & Delivery setting
• Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Illinois (IL) RN license required
• Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted)
• AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required
• Minimum 1 year of L&D/Newborn Nursery RN experience required
• Date of birth (DOB) and Social Security Number (SSN) required for consideration
• Experience with the facility's designated EMR system required

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care to newborn patients on overnight shifts in a hospital-based nursery
• DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention) training required — can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or the free CDC NIOSH resource
