Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Description

Job Summary:
Assist in performing echocardiography procedures to obtain diagnostic images of the heart. This PRN role is scheduled for Tuesdays, supporting patient assessments with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiogram exams, including stress echocardiograms, on scheduled days.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images.
• Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures and patient data.
• Ensure equipment is properly sanitized and maintained per industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer certification or credential.
• Possess prior experience performing echocardiograms, including stress tests.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and capturing diagnostic images.
• Possess strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently on a PRN schedule.
