Join the top team on the waterfront, working for unrivaled compensation and benefits.AbilitiesAssist with a variety of routine and/or low to high dollar value buying/purchasing tasks involving materials, suppliers, or services.Assisting with obtaining quotes from vendorsReviews purchase requisitions, and places orders with approved suppliers and follows up on all orders to ensure timely delivery.Uses websites to research and determine parts and material informationGeneral understanding of logistics and purchasingInspecting and receiving materials and equipmentAssist in preparing materials for shipment and storageTracking material orders and shipmentsAdvance use of computerized inventory systemComplying with requirements to handle hazardous materialsUtilizing MS Word and MS Excel to document material inventory for projects.Assisting with invoices to make sure they correspond with the appropriate purchases, transfers, and rental transactions.Assist with maintaining official vendor pricing records from year to year to track pricing fluctuations.QualificationsExperience: 2 Years of material tracking and logistics knowledge with a bachelor's degree or 8+ with a high school diploma / GEDMinimum Education: High School Diploma or GEDBenefitsA competitive salaryMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursement401k Retirement PlanMilitary Reserve pay offsetPaid maternity leavePay RangeUSD $33.88 - USD $42.35 /Hr.
