Job Description
CT Technologist

Schedule

Shift: 5x8, rotating Saturdays 07:00-15:30, on-call one weekend per month. Block scheduling; no scheduling requests can be accommodated.

Assignment Details

Daily census: approximately 60 patients, one CT room available.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute care imaging experience.
• Valid permanent California license.
• ARRT-CT certification, BLS (AHA or ARC), Fluoro certification, CRT.
• Experience with diagnostic CT (with/without contrast), vascular CTA protocols, brain perfusion, and trauma head imaging.
• Ability to prepare/administer IV contrast and perform venipuncture.
• Familiarity with PACS and 3D rendering/MPR, understanding of radiation safety.
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions.
• COVID-19 vaccine not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as per departmental policies.
• Ensure patient safety during imaging processes.
• Administer contrast media as required and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.
• Document procedures in the electronic medical record system.

Compliance / Notes

Two references required from the past year, must be from supervisors or higher. Background checks are mandatory.
