Responsible for designated areas or procedures; performs procedures requiring independent judgment. Responsibilities Performs imaging procedures, operating appropriate equipment. Processes imaging media, trouble shoots and corrects problems. Performs basic nursing care. Performs departmental clerical duties. Ensures patient s rights are protected. *articipates in Performance Improvement. Assists with orientation of new personnel; supervises students during their clinical rotation. Promotes a safe environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required, Associates Degree preferred. NM Radiography Technologist (RRT) License or Temporary license required.
