We've built our reputation through craftsmanship, discretion, and long-standing client relationships.What You'll Do as Our Cabinet Finishing SpecialistCreate custom colors, stains, and finishes that meet the exact specifications for our high-end cabinetry projects.Develop finish samples, color blocks, and custom formulas for homeowners, designers, dealers, and architects.Collaborate with customers, designers, vendors, and our production team to achieve beautiful, consistent finishing results.Troubleshoot color and finish challenges while helping identify practical solutions that maintain our quality standards.Document color formulas, finishing processes, and customer samples to ensure consistency and repeatable results on every project.Support our finishing department by organizing materials, maintaining inventory, assisting with specialty projects, and keeping the work area clean and efficient.Partner with our Customer Service and production teams to answer finish-related questions, resolve concerns, and complete specialty repairs or remake work when needed.Learn alongside our experienced Color Specialist as you build the knowledge and expertise to become a key member of our finishing team.Our Ideal Cabinet Finishing SpecialistExperienced: At least 3 years of wood finishing experience, including creating custom colors, applying stains and finishes, and troubleshooting finish-related challenges while maintaining exceptional quality.Creative: Enjoys developing custom color solutions and takes pride in bringing each customer's vision to life through craftsmanship and precision.Organized: Keeps accurate color formulas, finish documentation, samples, and materials organized to ensure consistency from project to project.Technically Capable: Possesses basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, along with basic math skills for mixing color formulas and the ability to learn new software and finishing technology.Hands-On: Enjoys an active work environment that includes standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds while working with premium materials.Collaborative: Values teamwork, professional communication, and continuous learning while contributing to a culture built on craftsmanship, integrity, and mutual respect.What We Offer Our Cabinet Finishing SpecialistPay: $22-$30/hour, DOEHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Holidays401(k)Profit-Sharing BonusCareer Growth: Learn from an expert mentor with on-the-job training, regular performance reviews, and opportunities for advancement.Schedule: Four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday (6:30 AM–5:00 PM), with optional Friday overtime.To ApplyCabinet Finishing Specialists, Wood Finishers, Cabinet Finishers, Paint and Stain Specialists, and Color Matching Professionals seeking a long-term opportunity with Christiana Cabinetry are encouraged to apply.
