Clinical - Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant (CMA / MA)Location: Olympia, WA | Outpatient Clinic (Family Medicine)Schedule / Job Type: Contract | Days | 4×10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 6:00 PM); expected days off on Thursdays, subject to changeKey ResponsibilitiesPerform clinical support duties including basic rooming, well-child checks, wellness visits, immunizations, and proceduresManage in-basket tasks and complete clinical paperwork accurately and in a timely mannerAssist with occasional front-office duties such as patient check-in/check-out, phone coverage, and scheduling as neededSupport overall clinic flow by managing patient messages and coordinating care activitiesFloat within skillset to meet facility needs as requiredDocument all patient interactions and clinical activities using Epic EMRRequired QualificationsActive MA-C (Certified Medical Assistant) or MA-R (Registered Medical Assistant) credential requiredBLS certification requiredMinimum 6 months of Medical Assistant experience; at least 1 year preferred per facility requirementsProficiency with Epic EMR requiredFamiliarity with healthcare terminology and adult outpatient clinic workflowsMust live within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible; candidates outside this radius will not be consideredCandidate must be open to the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role following the contract period, if mutually agreed uponPreferred Experience / SkillsExperience in a Family Medicine or general outpatient clinical settingComfort performing both clinical and front-office support functionsPrior experience with immunization administration and wellness visit workflowsWhy Join UsThis 13-week contract offers the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate, providing long-term career stability.
