Kitchen Manager – Skilled Nursing Facility in Kingsport, Tennessee

A skilled nursing facility in Kingsport, Tennessee, is seeking an experienced and compassionate  Kitchen Manager to lead our dietary department. This position is responsible for overseeing food service operations, ensuring quality meal preparation, maintaining regulatory compliance, and leading a team committed to providing excellent service to our residents.

 

What You’ll Do:

• Manage daily kitchen and food service operations

• Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff

• Ensure meals are prepared and served according to menus, dietary restrictions, and physician orders

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

• Monitor food inventory, ordering, and budget controls

• Ensure sanitation, food safety, and infection control standards are met

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident satisfaction and nutritional needs

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in food service management required

• Long-term care, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred

• Food Service Manager or certification/degree in Food Service Management or in Hospitality
