Pay: $19+/hour DOE
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-3:00 PM
Location: Shreveport, LA

Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Fabrication Welder / MIG Welder in Shreveport, LA. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity for a skilled welder with experience in metal fabrication, MIG welding, fitting, and production welding .

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fabrication shop, reading measurements and blueprints, fitting components, and producing consistent, high-quality welds.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding and general fabrication on metal components and assemblies
Fit, tack, and weld parts according to blueprints and specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication plans
Accurately read a tape measure and other measuring tools
Cut, grind, prep, and finish metal components
Operate common welding and metal fabrication equipment
Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
Perform production and structural welding as required
Follow established welding procedures and specifications
Maintain a clean and safe fabrication shop
Meet daily production and quality standards

Qualifications

Previous welding or metal fabrication experience required
MIG welding experience preferred
Fabrication, fitting, or structural welding experience preferred
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
Experience using grinders, cutting tools, and common shop equipment
Strong attention to weld quality and workmanship
Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical shop work throughout the shift

Pay & Benefits
