Job Title: School Social Worker Pay Range: $50-58/hour Job Description: Up to $58/hour | Cañon City, CO | Full-Time Hours | 2026–2027 School Year | K–12 Caseload Position Details: K–12 Caseload Starting August 2026 In Person 1.0 FTE, Monday–Friday About the Role Hello, School Social Workers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Social Worker for a K–12 school setting in Cañon City, CO. In this role, you’ll support students’ social-emotional well-being, family engagement, and access to learning by providing counseling, crisis support, and collaboration with school teams. Why Join Us Competitive pay (Up to $58/hour) + steady school-year schedule W-2 employment with liability insurance included Healthcare benefits* + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and professional expenses Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses What You’ll Do Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional development Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning as needed Participate in IEP, MTSS, and student support team meetings Conduct assessments related to social-emotional and behavioral needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers Support attendance, engagement, and wraparound services for students and families Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation Connect families to community resources and supports What We’re Looking For Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field Valid Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility by start date) Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis response skills School-based experience preferred, not required Passion for supporting students’ mental health and well-being About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women-, minority-, and therapist-owned company built by providers who understand school-based work.
