2nd Shift Quality LeadJob Summary

The Quality Lead ensures painted products meet customer and company standards through inspections, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.

• Inspect finished products before shipment.
• Identify and document paint and cosmetic defects.
• Perform adhesion, coating thickness, and gloss testing.
• Maintain inspection records and quality reports.
• Partner with production to resolve quality issues.
• Support corrective actions and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and customer requirements.

Required

• 3+ years of manufacturing quality experience.
• Strong attention to detail and inspection skills.
• Experience with quality documentation and reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience inspecting painted or coated products.
• Knowledge of mil gauges, gloss meters, and adhesion testing.
• Familiarity with paint and finishing processes.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.

Training: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM

Permanent: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM-11:00 PM

Overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, IL.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Decatur,IL.
