Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS ACLS Must-Have: Previous Cath Lab/IR experience Description: The facility has 2 labs and 5 patient bays. Currently, there are 2 full-time registered nurses and 5 full-time registered cardiovascular invasive specialists on staff. The type of equipment used includes GE and MacLab systems. The documentation system in use is Meditech. Scheduling requirements are Monday to Friday from 0700 to 1530, with additional after-hours on-call responsibilities. Floating policy applies as needed. This unit is focused on providing comprehensive pre, intra, and post-care for cardiac patients. The team experiences approximately 3 STEMI cases per month. Being on call is manageable with minimal callbacks. Dress code consists of royal blue scrubs. Unit-specific policies and guidelines are available for review. Any awards or recognition can be shared upon request. Prospective candidates are encouraged to learn about the tenure and experience of staff, as well as the available schedule options.
