Job Description\n Med Ninjas is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Jacksonville, Texas.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Physical Therapist\n Discipline: Therapy\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 8 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Job Summary (List Format):\n - Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement physical therapy care for assigned patients.\n - Ensure accountability and responsibility for patient physical therapy services.\n - Adhere to all standards and regulations of the Physical Therapy Practice Act.\n - Provide technical therapy care, including appropriate supplies, equipment, and interventions.\n - Collect relevant patient data from medical charts and healthcare team members; consult with physicians as needed.\n - Independently assess various patient types assigned.\n - Identify additional patient needs during evaluation and exercise sound judgment in requesting or scheduling further tests.\n - Interpret evaluation results and set relevant, measurable, realistic, and attainable therapy goals.\n - Reassess patient progress regularly in accordance with department and regulatory guidelines.\n - Recommend and discuss appropriate therapy equipment with patients and families.Requirements:\n - Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.\n - Valid LPT (Licensed Physical Therapist) license in Texas (or compact).\n - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA only).Work Schedule:\n - Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.\n Med Ninjas Job ID #15061.
