Full-Time Medical AssistantPrimary Care Center | Jasper Health Services, Inc.The Primary Care Center is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our physician office team.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, working closely with healthcare providers, and being part of a team dedicated to serving our community.What You'll DoAs a Medical Assistant, you will work alongside our providers and clinical team to support the delivery of high-quality, efficient patient care. Responsibilities include:Greet patients and prepare them for examinations and proceduresObtain and document vital signs, medical histories, medication information, and other clinical informationAssist providers with examinations, treatments, and minor proceduresPerform clinical tasks within applicable training and scope of practicePrepare examination rooms and maintain appropriate supplies and equipmentAssist with medication reconciliation and prescription-related requests as directedCoordinate laboratory testing, diagnostic testing, referrals, and follow-up careCommunicate with patients regarding appointments, instructions, and provider-directed informationAccurately document patient information in the electronic medical recordAssist with telephone calls, patient messages, and other clinical communicationsFollow infection prevention, patient safety, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirementsWork collaboratively with providers, nurses, office staff, and other members of the healthcare teamWhat We're Looking ForMedical Assistant training or previous experience in a physician office or outpatient clinical setting preferredMedical Assistant certification or credential preferredCurrent CPR/BLS certification preferredStrong communication and customer service skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work effectively in a busy clinical environmentBasic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records preferredA dependable, professional team member who is committed to providing an excellent patient experiencePosition DetailsEmployment Status: Full-Time Location: Primary Care Center Organization: Jasper Health Services, Inc.Why Join Jasper Health Services?As part of Jasper Health Services, you'll have the opportunity to work for a community-focused healthcare organization where your contribution matters.
