Overview Manage Trade Show Success as a Field Operations Manager. Are you ready to oversee dynamic trade show operations and lead teams to success? The Expo Group is seeking a Field Operations Manager to ensure seamless execution of trade shows and events. This on-site role, based in our Las Vegas Office, involves managing labor, equipment, and logistics at show sites, with travel required up to 50% of the time. Responsibilities Lead on-site operations during events to meet timelines and client expectations. Manage union labor, including scheduling and supervision, to ensure efficient show execution. Create and review labor budgets, attending finance meetings to align with projections. Coordinate equipment needs, including reservations and confirmations. Verify event logistics, such as move-in/out schedules, with project managers. Manage transportation schedules for event equipment in collaboration with warehouse teams. Represent The Expo Group at client and internal meetings to resolve operational challenges. Process work orders and payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Qualifications Educational Foundation: High school diploma or GED required. Experience: 4-5 years in tradeshow operations with expertise in venue coordination, freight logistics, and floor plan management. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn internal systems like Expo Cube and CoPro. Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management abilities. Effective communication skills for diverse audiences. Proven problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments. Proficiency with forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts is a plus. This hybrid role requires 35-50% travel, including work in diverse indoor and outdoor environments.
