Job Description
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional care to patients of all ages.

Job Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients within the emergency department.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on clinical guidelines and protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility policies.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety standards.
Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Shift Information

Rotating shifts: 3x12 hour shifts
Mid shifts from 15:00 to 03:00 or day shifts from 11:00 to 23:00
Weekend coverage required, with a commitment of every other weekend and 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
Holiday coverage is required

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an Emergency Department setting required.
Completion of at least one travel assignment preferred.
General experience with both adult and pediatric emergency care is necessary.
Familiarity with the Cerner electronic health record system is required.
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS.
Flu vaccination is mandatory for all employees.

Uniform

Scrubs are not provided; candidates are required to wear royal blue scrubs.
