Patient Admin Specialist (PAS)

We are looking for a Patient Admin Specialist (PAS) to support front-office operations in an outpatient clinic in California. This is a permanent contract position focused on patient registration, appointment coordination, surgery scheduling support, and day-to-day administrative service. The ideal candidate brings a calm, service-oriented approach, communicates effectively with patients and care teams, and helps keep clinic workflows organized and responsive.Responsibilities:• Welcome patients at the front desk, guide them through check-in and check-out, and address routine questions related to appointments, payments, and scheduling.• Coordinate new patient intake and assist with surgery and clinic appointment scheduling to ensure an efficient patient experience.• Work closely with providers and clinic staff to align calendars, accommodate urgent needs, and support timely access to care.• Respond to non-clinical inquiries received through phone, CRM, or patient messaging channels, escalating issues when additional follow-up is needed.• Use established reference materials and office tools to support provider-patient administrative communication and documentation.• Maintain clinic records and administrative databases, update directory information, and complete internal forms accurately and on time.• Process incoming and outgoing faxes, distribute mail, and organize filing for clinic-specific documents and related administrative records.• Deliver attentive customer service while supporting daily clinic operations and meeting departmental service expectations.
