This contract position is ideal for a skilled paraprofessional seeking a full-time role working closely with 2nd grade students. The assignment will begin at the start of the 26/27 school year, with a scheduled start date of September 10th. You’ll play an integral part in supporting classroom teachers, enriching the educational experience, and fostering academic growth.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Prior paraprofessional experience in a school environment
• Demonstrated ability to assist teachers with classroom management and instruction
• Proven success supporting elementary-aged students, particularly in 2nd grade
• Completion of onboarding requirements and clearance prior to start
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Adaptability, positive attitude, and genuine passion for education

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small group instructional support to students
• Facilitate classroom activities under teacher supervision
• Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organization, and student supervision
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom culture
• Support students’ academic and social-emotional development
• Uphold school policies and maintain confidentiality
• Partner with educators and support staff to ensure student success
