Phlebotomist
$17.75 - $27.69 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for client site and patient service center locations in Richmond, Virginia. The role involves collecting blood specimens, processing patient information, and providing customer service across multiple weekly schedules with rotating Saturday shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
- Process billing information and collect patient payments
- Prepare specimens for testing and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- Three months or more phlebotomy experience (or certification in lieu)
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
Compensation: $17.75 - $27.69 per hour
