Pay: $21.00–$25.00 per hour (DOE)

Location: Concord, NC (Shop Position – No Field Work)

A growing local manufacturing company in the Concord, NC area is seeking an experienced Stick Welder/Fabricator to join our shop team. If you take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy building custom metal products in a clean, professional shop environment, we’d like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Perform Stick (SMAW) welding on carbon steel components
- Cut, grind, fit, and prepare metal for fabrication
- Build and assemble handrails, railings, frames, brackets, and other fabricated metal products
- Read and interpret basic shop drawings and blueprints
- Safely operate fabrication equipment and hand tools
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Qualifications
- Previous Stick (SMAW) welding experience required
- Experience cutting and grinding metal
- Fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and basic blueprints
- Experience building handrails or structural metal components is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable with a positive work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
