Northwestern Mutual College Financial Representative Program 

\n

College Financial Representative Interns at Northwestern Mutual Pittsburgh help their clients live more and worry less through our unique approach to holistic financial planning.

\n

Our interns, who come from a variety of academic backgrounds, begin to build their own financial planning practice while employing local and nationwide experts, exclusive financial products, and the support of a Fortune 100 company. You will have the opportunity to build your confidence, develop a professional network, and change people’s lives by helping them achieve financial freedom. Here, hard work pays off!

-Build your client base through prospecting and networking

\n

-Call on your own potential clients and set meetings to understand their financial goals

\n

-Prepare plans and offer useful recommendations

\n

-Gain exposure to planning software platforms

\n

-Get licensed with your Life, Accident, and Health insurance license

\n

-Participate in weekly coaching, training, and development learnings

\n

Full-time student: juniors and seniors preferred

Entrepreneurial and curiosity for sales roles within Financial Services

Highly involved on campus (leader, campus orgs, student government, etc)

\n

Excellent time-management skills

\n

Interest in financial literacy and planning tools

\n

Business savvy

\n

\n

Compensation & Benefits

Commissions (uncapped)

Productivity incentivized compensation

Obtain your Life, Accident, and Health Certification

\n

Support for additional insurance licensing (DI, LTC)

\n

Support for SIE, Series 6, Series 63 registrations (eligibility required)
