CATERING ATTENDANT (PART TIME)

Job Summary Position: Part‑time Catering Attendant Location: Baylor University – 1120 South 5th, Waco, TX 76706 Schedule: Open availability, shifts may vary. Pay Range: $14.75 to $15.00 per hour. Summary: Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures accurate execution of all events during the shift, may drive a catering delivery truck, sets up, serves, cleans, breaks down the setup, and returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations. Log and maintain food temperatures. Arrange tables, decorations, buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards. Serve food and beverages to guests. Thoroughly clean location after event is completed. Return food, beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility. Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions. Stock, clean and maintain catering facility and equipment. Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times. Maintain in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid driver’s license may be required. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server’s permit where required by state law.
