Responsibilities

- Provides appropriate patient nutritional care.- Assesses the nutritional status of patients, formulates a care plan, coordinates its implementation, and evaluates its impact and effectiveness.- Provides nutrition education to patients/families.- Approves supplements as appropriate and assists in the development of a hospital formulary appropriate to the patient population.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

1. Registered Dietitian Required (CMS requirement).
2. One year healthcare experience desirable.
