QA Technician

QA TechnicianThis role is responsible for inspecting printed materials and cartons at various stages of production to ensure they meet customer requirements and internal quality standards. The position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, supporting production efficiency, and ensuring compliance with GMP and SOP requirements.Key responsibilities include performing in-process inspections using statistical sampling plans, visually inspecting printed materials for printing, die-cutting, and gluing defects, recording and maintaining accurate inspection and production records, conducting testing methods such as scanner challenges and scale count verification, inspecting finished pallets prior to shipping and determining acceptability or placing on Quality Hold, ensuring materials placed on Quality Hold are properly documented and moved to designated areas, communicating with production teams to address and correct quality issues during runs, reviewing job specifications and standards prior to production startup, performing and documenting line clearance before each job, establishing and verifying case counts for new jobs and monitoring consistency, and performing additional duties as assigned to support quality and production operations.What you need to succeed includes strong communication skills and the ability to provide direction when needed, knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), basic math skills and the ability to use a calculator, the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, the ability to distinguish between acceptable and non-conforming material, reliable attendance and strong attention to detail, willingness to work overtime as needed, including during peak production periods, and the ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.What we offer includes a workplace culture built on integrity, respect, accountability, and excellence, comprehensive training with opportunities to build quality and production expertise, competitive compensation based on experience, skills, and performance, a career with a global packaging leader where Safety, Sustainability, and Inclusion are core to daily operations.
