Entertainment Props Tech - Tech 1

$22.50 / hour Position Overview Opportunity to join the Production Prop Team, using hands‑on theatrical techniques for prop building and set dressing. Responsibilities Strike and properly store all show elements. Assist with mold making, foaming, and fiberglass. Use approved chemicals and compounds while wearing the correct P.P.E. Operate electric carts, forklifts, mast lifts, scissor lifts, and articulating boom lifts. Provide guest service in accordance with Six Flags standards, including initiating interactions, answering questions, and giving directions. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the assigned work area, following Six Flags safety guidelines, and report unsafe or unusual conditions. Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Meet Six Flags attendance requirements. Adhere to Six Flags Rules of Conduct, with specific costuming and grooming standards. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications & Requirements 1–2 years of related experience in props fabrication, design, sculpting, or set dressing. Practical experience in prop fabrication, design, sculpting, or set dressing. Knowledge of industry‑standard techniques, materials, chemicals, compounds, foams, and adhesives. Ability to read and follow design plans and concept art. At least 18 years of age. Professional theatre, corporate, film, or TV production experience. Ability to pass a background check if 18 years of age or older, which may include credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references as per company policy, unless prohibited by law.
