Charge Registered Nurse, Med/Surg, Full-time Days, Clarksville

Organization VCH Med/Surg Job Summary Responsible for administering and directing nursing interventions as prescribed by a qualified physician or mid‑level practitioner. Responsible for effective communication and accurate documentation. Displays professional behavior in accordance with Nursing Code of Ethics and CHS philosophy of service. Full‑time, days (6:45a - 6:45p) Key Responsibilities Perform initial nursing assessment and communicate findings with assigned physician or mid‑level practitioner. Assess wound stage and measurements, document care plans, evaluate patient status in regard to desired outcomes. Identify patient care situations requiring intervention. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, provide education to patient and/or caregiver, and serve as patient advocate in coordination of care. Collaborate with other healthcare providers, Wound Care Center providers, Program Director, and Medical Director regarding patient needs. Perform other duties as required.
