Travel Surgical Technologist

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with robotic, spinal fusion, and total joint experience for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital OR in Anchorage, AK. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required BLS certification from the AHA or ARC required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the start date) State license required if applicable Experience with Da Vinci Xi robotic surgery required Experience with spinal fusion (orthopedic or neuroservice) required Experience with orthopedic cases including total joint arthroplasty required US SSN and date of birth required for consideration One professional reference required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months Responsibilities Hospital OR setting with 11 operating rooms located on the 2nd floor of the main building Day shift hours from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM 1:1 patient ratio Typical procedures include total joints, multi-level spinal fusions, and a variety of Da Vinci Xi robotic cases including GYN, colorectal, and general surgery On-call is required, averaging 5–6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift per 8-week sign-up period EMR: Epic Facility provides scrubs Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered Collaborative team environment with an average of 8 RNs, 8 scrub techs, and 5 surgical support techs on day shift Night shift is staffed with one charge RN and one scrub tech in-house with a call team on backup Positive, team-oriented attitude is a strong fit for this unit The OR handles very little ENT, dental, eye, or plastics cases — the primary focus is total joints, neuro, and robotic surgery Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-717255 Open Positions: 2 #J-18808-Ljbffr
