Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
• Support nursing leadership to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
• Monitor and manage appropriate resource utilization related to patient care
• Ensure competency of clinical staff through ongoing oversight and accountability

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in a Medical Surgical nursing setting
• Demonstrated ability to assess and manage patient care needs across a shift
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with advanced surgical, cardiovascular, orthopedic, or obstetrics patient populations
• Prior charge or supervisory nursing experience
