Work Environment\nThis position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enabling you to perform your duties from the comfort of your own home while still engaging actively with patients through virtual consultations. The typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct detailed mental health assessments to determine patients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans, ensuring all strategies align with therapeutic best practices. \n
- Utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to guide individual and group therapy sessions. \n
- Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, fostering a sense of community among patients and promoting shared experiences in mental health journeys. \n
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and support staff to guarantee a cohesive approach to patient care that encompasses physical, emotional, and social well-being. \n
- Provide crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring timely and effective support. \n
- Educate patients on their mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources that can aid in their recovery journey. \n
- Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring easy access to treatment history and progress. \n
- Actively participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of advancements in the mental health field. \n

Qualifications\n- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. \n
- Valid licensure in the state of New York as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R. \n
- Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities. \n
- Demonstrated capability in conducting assessments and developing effective treatment strategies. \n
- Proficiency in providing individual and group therapy to varied populations. \n
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, which facilitate strong relationships with patients and colleagues. \n
- Commitment to professional ethics and the ability to maintain boundaries. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions efficiently. \n

- Experience in outpatient mental health settings, specifically in a therapeutic capacity. \n
