Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse's (LPN's) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide essential nursing care to patients under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
• Perform basic life support measures as needed.
• Conduct routine laboratory tests and assist with sterile processing of medical equipment.
• Support pain management strategies for patients experiencing discomfort.
• Participate in the care of geriatric patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic for documentation and patient tracking.

Skills

• Proficient in basic life support techniques.
• Knowledgeable in pain management practices.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• Ability to manage neonatal ventilators effectively.
• Skilled in laboratory procedures relevant to nursing practice.
• Competence in sterile processing techniques for medical instruments.
• Strong understanding of geriatric care principles.
