Details Hybrid multimodality role performing both CT scans and radiographic exams across two campus locations Main campus is an acute care hospital; second location is an 11-bed freestanding ER with X-ray and CT capabilities One multimodality tech staffs each 12-hour shift at the freestanding ER location Schedule includes Friday 6:30a-7p at the main campus, Saturday 6:30a-7p and Sunday 6:30p-7a at the freestanding ER On-call rotation required among staff at the freestanding ER location; weekend work may be required if on-call shifts go unfilled Adult acute care patient population Uses PACS and Epic EMR systems Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Radiological Technologist and in Computed Tomography ARRT (R)(CT) certification required SCRQSA (R)(CT) certification/license required if applicable BLS certification required (AHA) Must be a graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiological technology Radiation badge required, must be provided by the agency as the facility does not supply one First-time travelers accepted Additional Information Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address patient concerns as part of routine care Scrub requirement is black pants with a teal top Employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties during hurricane season (June through November) Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis, though non-local candidates are prioritized 60-mile radius rule applies for local candidate consideration American Traveler Job ID P-742287.
