Associate Veterinarian - Village Veterinary Clinic

Associate Veterinarian

Build a Veterinary Career Where Community and Quality Care Come First

At Village Veterinary Clinic in Mayfield, Ohio, we believe great veterinary medicine is built on trust, compassion, and showing up for both pets and people.

We are growing and excited to welcome an Associate Veterinarian who wants to practice high-quality medicine in a supportive, collaborative environment where relationships matter and your work truly makes an impact. Four days/week with a strong surgical case load.

Village Veterinary Clinic is an established small animal practice serving the Mayfield community. We're proud of the relationships we've built with our clients and equally committed to creating an environment where our veterinary team can do great work and build sustainable careers. We're locally led and supported by Encore Vet Group, giving our doctors the feel and relationships of a community practice along with access to additional education, mentorship, benefits, and career development opportunities.

Surgery is a real part of the opportunity. If the OR is one of your favorite places to be, we want to hear from you. You'll have the opportunity to perform surgery regularly while still maintaining the variety of a GP caseload.

Four days means four days. Your full-time schedule is approximately 3640 hours across four days per week, giving you a consistent day away from the hospital each week.

Practice medicine with autonomy. We trust our doctors to be doctors. You'll have the ability to make clinical decisions, develop your interests, and practice medicine in a way that works for you and your patients.

You won't be doing it alone. You'll join an experienced veterinary team that values collaboration, communication, and utilizing the entire team to support excellent patient care.

Keep growing. Whether you're an experienced surgeon or a GP who loves surgery and wants to continue expanding your skills, we're interested in what you want the next chapter of your career to look like.

Your week will include a mix of surgical and general practice cases, giving you the opportunity to maintain strong client relationships while spending meaningful time doing the procedures you enjoy.

Our hospital offers comprehensive small animal medicine, including:

• Soft-tissue surgery
• Dentistry
• Preventive and wellness care
• Diagnostic medicine and imaging
• In-house diagnostics
• Medical case management
